Aluminum Composite Material (ACM)
ACM is a lightweight yet highly durable manufactured aluminum product with a fire-resistant thermoplastic core typically 4mm in thickness. It offers unmatched architectural design flexibility producing very flat surfaces with crisp precise edges and complex shapes. These ACM “pans” are reinforced with high-quality aluminum extrusions and sealants, and are available in a wide variety of colors, metallic finishes (zinc, copper), woodgrains, or custom designs.
EEWS designs, engineers, and fabricates ACM in-house using raw material produced by the world’s leading manufacturers, Arconic, 3A Composites, and Alpolic. Our ACM is designed with different joint configurations to suit the project's technical and aesthetic considerations and offered in both traditional wet-sealed or dry gasket rainscreen applications.

FAQ
What is Aluminum Composite Material (ACM)?
What is Aluminum Composite Material (ACM)?
Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) consists of two .020″ aluminum sheets bonded to a fire-resistant thermoplastic core. This lightweight yet durable material is ideal for exterior wall cladding in modern building designs.
Why choose ACM panels for building exteriors?
Why choose ACM panels for building exteriors?
ACM panels offer a combination of lightweight strength, aesthetic versatility, and superior durability. They are resistant to weathering, UV exposure, and impact damage, making them suitable for various architectural applications.
What finishes and colors are available for ACM panels?
What finishes and colors are available for ACM panels?
ACM panels come in a wide range of colors, finishes, and textures, including metallic finishes, solid colors, woodgrains, and custom designs, providing unmatched design flexibility.
How are ACM panels fabricated for precision?
How are ACM panels fabricated for precision?
Each ACM sheet is routed on a CNC machine to create precise, tight bends with superior accuracy. This process ensures consistent panel shaping and allows for complex designs with minimal deviation.
What joint system options are available for ACM panels?
What joint system options are available for ACM panels?
ACM panels can be designed with multiple joint configurations, such as wet-sealed double caulk joints for a monolithic appearance or panel-to-panel perimeter gasket systems for enhanced performance and faster installation.
